Does your Diocese want to join the Challenge?

The Family Bible Challenge is the brainchild of The Institute of Catholic Formation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport. We created the challenge after receiving a generous donation of Bibles from the American Bible Society. Another partner, The Bible Project, provides videos for most of the books of the Bible. To fill in the gaps, we commissioned a partner to create videos for the deuterocanonical books, which are hosted on the FBC website.

 

How to Join

Any diocese around the world can join in the challenge, which takes place four to five times per year. Families who sign up receive two emails a week: a passage and some reflection questions on Sunday and a quiz about the reading, the Bible, and general Catholic knowledge on Wednesdays. All emails arrive in English and Spanish.

There is no cost for your diocese to join the Family Bible Challenge, but there are a few things we will need. Use the checklist below to gather the information and then use the form below to upload all your information.

  • Diocese Name
  • Diocesan Logo (preferably in PNG format)
  • URL of Website
  • Contact email for notifications when users join (Optional)
  • List of Parishes/Schools (Optional)
  • Bible Delivery Instructions (Optional)
  • Any additional info (Optional)
